Short Professional Biography

Dr. Anurag Garg is a Research Fellow and part-time Lecturer with the Distributed Systems Group (DSG) in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College, Dublin. He was a Marie Curie Incoming International Fellow at DSG from 2006-2008. Prior to this he was a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunication at the University of Trento from 2004 to 2006. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Trento in 2006. He worked in the LION lab led by Prof. Roberto Battiti.

He did his graduate work in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Los Angeles where he received his M.S. (1998) and Ph.D. (2003). He was advised by Prof. Leonard Kleinrock, one of the founding fathers of the Internet. He received his B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1996.
