Short Bio

My name is Anurag Garg though I am also known as Garo. I am a Research Fellow in the Distributed Systems Group (DSG) in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College, Dublin. I was a Marie Curie Fellow at DSG from 2006 to 2008.

I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunication at the University of Trento from April 2004 to September 2006 and was appointed as an Assistant Professor thereafter. I worked in the LION lab led by Prof. Roberto Battiti. I am a scientific advisor to Reactive Search Srl.

I did my graduate work in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Los Angeles where I received my M.S. (1998) and Ph.D. (2003). My advisor was Professor Leonard Kleinrock, one of the founding fathers of the Internet.

I am from New Delhi, India where I did my schooling at Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram (Class of '92), and received my B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (Class of '96).
